On June 19, 2024, in Barangay Sampaloc, Manila, 333 residents received financial aid of PHP 3,000 each through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis (AICS) program facilitated by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). The aid, led by Senator Lito Lapid, aimed to support senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and students in Manila.
Senator Lapid aims to help these beneficiaries meet their immediate needs. Representative Sam Versoza from the Tutok To Win Partylist joined the payout event. Versoza is known for his work with Willie Revillame on the Tutok To Win program, which provides financial assistance to those in need. Recently, Versoza also launched the Serbisyo Caravan, offering free medical services.The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to Senator Lapid and Representative Versoza for their timely support.
